Hey hey it’s Friday!! I’m so excited for this weekend. Father’s Day is Sunday, and Mae has her very first ballet performance that evening. Last Saturday was their formal dress rehearsal which sadly I wasn’t able to attend, but Ryan said she killed it. All the other kids in her class froze up in front of the audience, but Mae went through the full routine by herself. The girl was so incredibly proud! Can’t wait for the final show!
Today I’m so excited to be featuring Softsie! It’s a brand of baby & toddler clothing made from a cotton jersey fleece that’s been infused with aloe vera, jojoba oil, and vitamin E. Not only is it the coziest clothing material I have ever felt (no lie!), but it actually nourishes your child’s skin throughout the day.
Softsie was started by mama Katie Feild when her baby girl was suffering from eczema and dry skin, and constantly trying to re-apply lotions throughout the day to keep her baby skin hydrated & protected. The idea came to her to create clothing that had moisturizers infused right into the fabric, so she knew her baby’s skin would be nourished all day.
Softsie products are made right here in the USA. Microscopic, waterproof capsules containing aloe vera, jojoba oil, and vitamin E and applied to the fabric by immersing it in a laboratory setting. The capsules then open to release the moisturizers when touched or rubbed by skin, so when being worn by your baby!
You’ll want to keep your baby in Softsie round the clock because it’s so cozy. They’re the first items I reach for when clean. I love that they’re gender-neutral, versatile, and stylish.
Softsie clothing is available for purchase through their website. Shop through the end of the month and take 10% off all orders with code THRIFTY.
*Thanks to Softsie for sending Ander & Winnie some products to test out!
