There’s a big promotion going on right now on Diono Convertible Car Seats! Select models are marked down 30%, which is a great deal for this brand and the best deal we’ve seen yet on their newly released two-toned styles.
Diono car seats are popular because they have one of the longest lifespans of any car seat on the market. They can be converted from a rear-facing carseat to a forward-facing five-point harness and finally to a booster seat. Not only that but they have extended rear-facing capabilities, up to 50 pounds depending on model. They are constructed from a steel alloy frame and have aluminum reinforced sides, are FAA certified for air travel, and fold flat for transporting and storage.
Lots of parents (like us!) go for the Diono Radian RXT, R120, and R100 because they have narrow profiles and fit three across in most mid-sized vehicles. The newer Ranier has deeper reinforced sidewalls making it wider than the other three. You can see the differences between all models and weight limits using this comparison chart.

- Diono Radian RXT Convertible Car Seat (retail: $359.99 sale: $251.99)
- Diono Radian R120 Convertible Car Seat (retail: $319.99 sale: $223.99)
- Diono Radian R100 Convertible Car Seat (retail: $279.99 sale: $195.99)
We recently bought both the girls the Diono Radian RXT Convertible Car Seat. We did a lot of research beforehand and I have been so happy with this car seat. Once they’re installed they are super secure and I love that they’re low, making it easy for Mae to climb and out in on her own. The only downside is they’re heavy. We recently flew to Colorado and the weight of the two seats (plus all of our luggage) was a little overwhelming. It was the only time I’ve ever been able to talk my husband into renting one of those push carts at the airport (the man is cheap). Luckily we don’t fly too often, and will even less with three kids.
