We’ve been using Maxi-Cosi car seats since we brought Mae home from the hospital. I loved their infant car seat so much that we upgraded to their convertible car seat when she outgrew the infant one and it’s what she’s been using ever since. I’ll tell you what I love about their convertible car seats below, but first I have to share a rare deal!
Right now you can save 20% on Maxi-Cosi Convertible Car Seats over at Amazon, plus you’ll receive a free $25 gift card at checkout! You’ll have to add both the car seat and the gift card to your cart to get the deal – you can do that on the product page by scrolling down to Special Offers and selecting “Add Both to Cart.” You’ll see the discount reflected before you finalize purchase. Maxi-Cosi has a deal on convertible car seats just once or twice a year (and the promotions are never better than this), so if you’ll be needing one soon don’t miss this one!
So here’s what I love about Maxi-Cosi Convertible Car Seats. First, they have a self-wicking fabric that’s super cozy and will keep your baby dry, cool, and comfortable. The fabric really is so soft! But the best part is the fabric can be easily removed with snaps (no need to uninstall or rethread harness straps) and then thrown in the washer and dryer making them super easy to clean! Our older model also has fabric that is machine washable (but not easy to remove like the newer model) and I am always shocked at how clean it gets in the washer! It looks nearly new after every washing, even after years of use! Other features of the Maxi-Cosi are the headrest and harness that are adjustable with one hand, the three recline positions for a great fit, and an integrated cup holder.
The main difference between the different models is the weight limits. The Maxi-Cosi Pria 70 fits children from 9 to 70lbs and the Maxi-Cosi Pria 85 fits children from 14 to 85lbs. If you want to use the Maxi-Cosi Pria for babies under 9lbs, you’ll need the Pria 70 with Tiny Fit.
